CONDITIONS. Winners of any handicap after declaration of weights to carry a penalty of 71bs. All open races except Maiden and District Welter race. The district Bhall be the Waiapu County boundaries. Horses must have been owned and in the district at least three months previous to races. Nominations for all handicaps must be in the hands of the Secretary before 8 p.m. on FEBItUAItY 7th, 100 H, accompanied by nomination fees, name, age, pedigree, and performances, also colors of riders. Weights declared on BKBKUABY llth, and general entry night. Acceptances due on b’HBliUAltY 28th, at 8 p.m., at Keedy’s Hall, Tuparoa. All protests to be given in writing within 15 minutes of race, and accompanied by a deposit of 2 sovs, which shall be forfeited if protest not sustained. All races run under Metropolitan rules.
