Patrick’s Handicai-, of £2O, to be run in three distances—viz., 100, 220, and 440 yards, with prizes for each distance, and aggregate prize of gold medal suitably inscribed. Open to teams of 10 men, representing Friendly Societies, Athletic Bodies, Maoris, Volunteers, and Freezing Works. Entrance 10s each team. Prize £5. Five teams to enter or no event. First prizo, trophy value £l. Entrance Is. Sword Dance. First prize, trophy value £l. Entrance Is. Must be three entries for all dancing or no event. Games and amusements under the supervision of Mr T. Hackeit, who will hold races for the children, when every child will receive a prize. The Band will be in attendance. Entries for events 3,5, 7,8, 10. 11, 12, 16, 18, with performances and colors, close with Mr W. Fraser and Mr Ed Williams, at their respective shops at 10 p.m., SATURDAY, MABCH 14th. Entries for events 1,2, 4. 6,9, 13, 14, 15. 17, 19, and the Dancing Competitions, will be received by the Secretaries on the ground not later than half an hour before the time of starting.
