MASTERTON SHOW.

Per Prosy Association^ Mastcrton, last night. Between six and seven thousand people attended the Show to-day. The gate takings of both days amounted to .£2OO. The Boer delegates, who were present, declared themselves surprised and greatly impressed with the number and quality of the exhibits. In the walking competition AVhatman Bros, had a walk over. The rescue competition was won by AV. A. Pyke ; trotting horse in harness, W. D. Watson's Auctioneer ; champion jumping competition, H. Hassali’s Pickpocket 1, Moore’s Mignen 2, W. id. Hannon’s Flirt 3. Leading and jumping competition, Tilson Bros., 1; consolation jumping competition, F. E. B. Lovelock, 1.
