• - OLD MEN TO BE RETIRED. Per Press Association. Auckland, last night, i The Premier, in an interview, stated that the Cabinet had unanimously resolved that all Civil servants over 65 years of age and entitled to pensions should be retired, excopt district court judges and magistrates and experts. Thoso between 60 and 65 entitled to compensation will also bo retired. The decision is largely ihe result of tho dissatisfaction of younger mon of tho Government service, who complain that their promotion is prevented by retaining in tho service over-age men.
