The next examinations under the Confederation of Australasian Surveyors are to be held throughout the Commonwealth and New Zealand in March. The papers for this examination have just been prepared by the New Zealand Board. At an open-air municipal election meeting at Waterloo, Sydney, Mr David ance, who was standing in the crowd, was hit on the head with a stone and severely injured. It is believed that the missile was aimed either at a constable or the Council clerk of Waterloo. Altogether a reward of £l5O has been offered for information as to the culprit.
