To start at 12.15 p.m. 2. MAIDEN PLATE, of 12 sovs. A district race of 3-mile. .Weight for age. Entry, 10s. To start at 1 p.m. 3. WAIAPU CUP, 1$ miles. A handicap of 30 sovs. ; second horse to receive 5 sovs. from stakes. Nomination, 20s ; acceptance, 10s. To start at 2 p.m. 4. PONY RACE, a handicap of 10 sovs. Distance, 7 furlongs. For ponies of 14-3 and under. Entry, 10s To start at 2.30 p.m. 5. DISTRICT WELTER HANDICAP, of 15 sovs. ; the second horse to receive 3 sovs. from stakes. Distance 1 mile. Nomination, 10s ; acceptance, ss. To start at 3.15 p.m. 6. FLYING HANDICAP, ol 20 sovs, second horse to receive 3 sovs. from stakes. Distance, 3-mile. Nomination, 15s ; acceptance, ss. To start at 4 p.m.
7. CONSOLATION RACE, of 10 sovs; for all losers. Distance, 1 mile. Nomination, 7s 6d ; accept ance t 2s Gd, CONDITIONS. Winners of any handicap after declaration of weights to carry u penalty of 71bs. All open races except Maiden and District Welter race. The district shall be the Waiapu County boundaries. Horses must have been owned and in the district at least three months previous to races. Nominations for all handicaps must be in the hands of the Secretary before 8 p.m. on TKBKUABY 7th, 1903, accompanied by nomination fees, name, age, pedigree, and performances, also colors of riders. Weights declared on TTibRUABY 14th, and general entry night. Acceptances due on FKBHUABY 28th, at 8 p.m., at lteedy’s Hall, Tuparoa.
All protests to be given in writing within 15 minutes of race, and accompanied by a deposit of 2 sovs, which shall be forfeited if protest not sustained. All races run under Metropolitan rales. All nominations and entrances to be addressed to the Secretary of Waiapu Itacing Club, Tuparoa, Kast Coast, and endorsed “Entry for Waiapu liaces.”
