A FIRE.
(Per Press Association.) DUNEDIN, last night.
A fire broke out shortly after midnight in F. A. Harrer’s furniture warehouse and factory, the Octagon, which were almost completely gutted. The fire had a good hold before the alarm was given. The stock was valued at about £2OOO, and was insured for £lB50 —in the Manchester £6OO ; Commercial Union, £3OO ; New Zealand, £250 ; Alliance, £l5O ; South British, £250. The building was insured for £2OO0 —in the NationaLNew, Zealand, Standard, and Victoria, £SOO each.
