Fielding, last night. The Feilding Jockey Club have adopted a programme for the Easter meeting. The stakes woro increased £3OO, and now total £I7OO. TRAINING NOTES. (By Pinetroo.)
Trainers are sending their .horses along in view of the forthcoming meeting, and most of the horses out yesterday morning did strong, useful work. Lady Raven was sent throe rounds, moving very freely, and finishing up strongly. Vivacity was restricted to half-pace. Soultina, who looks very well, is a very nice mover. Bhe went three rounds at half-pace, finishing up slowly. Miss Ruby went three miles slow, but finished up fast. Mr Hepburn’s young filly wont two rounds.
Croupior and his stablo mate, working together, had a good working gallop for a mile. The former, pulling hard, had all the best of the go. Paria was restricted to walking esercise, Tryphcna worked twice round at halfpace. Morpeth, who is coming on nicely, did good, useful work. Bullfinch was sent two rounds at halfpace. Carson’s team, Wilson and Argyll, worked on the beach.
