The s.s. Mokoia arrived early this morning from South, and loaves for Auckland

Weka, which left for Napier at midnight on Thursday, had to roturn to port, owing to the breaking of her eccentric strap. The steamer had only got a short distance out, and, temporary repairs having been effected, sho got back to port after a short delay. Sho left again for Tolago Bay last ovoning, after transhipping a small quantity of cargo from tho s.s. Waihi. Tho ship Gladys (Captain Footo) is expected to loavo for Homo on Monday noxt. About 6300 bales of wool have ■already been shipped. Tho Tyser steamer Niwaru loaves this evoning for Wellington, after shipping tho following cargo at this port: —16,500 carcases frozen mutton, 1500 bales of wool, 213 casks of casings and tallow. Tho following havo booked passages by tho Mokoia for Auckland this morning : Mesdames Coleman and Mack ; Misses Coleman, Cotton, and Turtle; Messrs Jackson, Hubble, Ormond, Park, Walker, Hicks, Mack, Poole, Kearsley, Warnock, and Eicholbaum.
