(By Telegraph—Press Association.) Napier, last night. The second wool sale of the season today proved most successful. The offerings aggregated 6300 bales. There was a large attendance, and bidding was spirited throughout the morning sales. Prices showed an advance all round with the exception of half-bred parcels of from 10 to 15 per cent, on the prices of last sale, the rougher and coarser breeds benefitting most. Locks, pieces and bellies showed a farthing to a halfpenny advance. There was a fair offering of lambs’ wool, which made from Od to 7d for bright parcels. Of merino the little offering sold up to 9d; half-bred, good quality, from 64d to 81d. Coarse crossbreds, in light condition, brought to 6d, fair average 5d to dingy crossbreds old, crossbred bellies and pieces 3i-d to 4jd, fine crossbred pieces 54d to 6;}d.
