Tho s.s. Omapere arrived at 130 p.m. on Saturday from Westport. Her cargo consists of 200 tons of coal for Nelson Bros.
The Orient Co.’s s.s. Orontes leaves Sydney for London on April 7th instead of 11th aB per timetable. This is in order to allow her to load fruit at Hobart, and pick up her proper dates from tho other ports. Tho Union Company’s s.s. Waihora arrived from Auckland last evening at 7.30. Tho steamer left tho Northern port on Saturday at 2 p.m., and experienced strong oasterly' winds all along the coast. She left for Southern ports at midnight last night. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co.’s s.s. Maori arrived yesterday afternoon, and will load about 10,000 carcases of frozen mutton, 150 casks of tallow, and 1000 bales of wool. Weathor permitting, she expects to leave for Napier to-morrow evening. Messrs Common, Shelton and Co, ore the loading agents. The schooner Aotea (Capt. J.
