WINTER SHOW AT PALMERSTON

At a general committee meeting of the Manawatu Agricultural Association on Saturday it was decided to hold a winter show this yoar, and a special sub-com-mittee voted L'2oo for the purposo. In answer to a communication from the Railway Department it was decided not to recommend an alteration in tho size of grain sacks, but that tho weight of tho grain so packed bo limited to 2001 b. The Association decided to assist the Farmers’ Union and Chamber of Commerce in pressing upon tho notice of the Government tho claims of Palmerston as being a suitable site for a dairy school.
