ORANGE BLOSSOMS.
A pretty wedding was solemnised at tho residence of the bride’s parents, Whataupoko, on Wednesday afternoon, when Miss Mary Ellen Jennings, only daughter of Mr M. Jennings, and Mr William George Stopheuson were united in the holy bonds of ruatiiuiony. The service was conducted by tuo Rev." Father Mulvibill. The bride, wbu was given away by her father, was attired in a handsome costume of white muslin, with veil and orange blossoms, and carried a lovely shower bouquet, Misses WaJsho and Mouat were the bridesmaids, tue lormer wearing a neat heliotrope dress, whilst the latter was attired in while. Mr John Mouat acted as best man. Tho presents received were numerous and custiy, including a handsome silver service, testifying to the higu esteem in winch the young people were held. The bappy couple telt for their honeymoon trip amid showers of rice, carrying with them the best wishes of their many friends for their future happiness.
