MINING RETURNS.
[(Per Press Association). Dunedin, last night. Dredging returns: Inch Valley 19oz 14dwt, Inch Dale lloz lldwt. The Alexandra Bonanza Dredging and Sluicing Co. washed up 60oz 14dwt 12gr for December. The Daily Times, >n its mining review, states that during the year the aggregate yield from the Otago and Southland dredges was 106,3460z5, of the value of £4091432. as comparod with 65,5050 z, valued at £153,800 in the previous year, an increase of 41,8100 z, representing £155,315 in value. The average number of dredges reporting last year was 63, against 46 in the previous year. The sum of £145,967 was paid in dividends during the year.
