Owing to a signalman failing to detain tho Chicago Grand express, crowded with returning Christinas oxcursionists, it collided with a goods train noar London, Ontario. Two cars wero demolished and others overturned. Twenty-five pcoplo were killed, and 30 injured, many fatally.
