By Telegraph—Press Association. _ Greymouth, last night. The Tyneside coalmine, which was recently re-opened, is putting out coal oi excellent quality. The Grey Harbor Board’s third coal bore hole i 3 now down 1600 feet. It has j gone through a small seam, and is ex- | pected to strike a larger seam any day. The gold dredge returns for last weeli will be over IGOOoz, with an average of over 40oz per dredge, which constitutes the West Coast record. There is already a large influx of visitors to Greymouth for the holidays. The Harbor Board’s tug had a trial tow on Saturday after having its new boilers and machinery put in. It worked well, and is reckoned to be able to steam 13 knots with a good-sized tow behind,
