PRESENTATION TO MR A. MURRAY.

[ax XELEGRAI'II.—PItES.I ASSOCIATION.] Napier, last night. A presentation was made by the Mayor this morning, on behalf of a large number of citizens, to Mr Andrew Murray, on the occasion of his leaving this district to assume the management of Messrs L. D. Nathan aud Co.’s Gisborne branch. The presentation consisted of a sterling silver tea -and coffee service. Mr Murray has resided in this district for 29 years, and as travelling representative of Messrs Robjolms and Sons made hosts of friends in all parts of the province. Mr Murray will arrive iu Gisborne at the end of the year to make arrangements for the opening of the Gisborne branch of Messrs L. D. Nathan nnd Co.’s business.
