HORTICULTURAL SHOW.
(To the Editor of the Times).
Slit, —Permit me to write a few lines in your columns. I would strongly adviße the Horticultural Society when they make rules to keep to them, if they wish to see the Society a success. There seems to be a difference of opinion as to the time the entries close. Some entries are not taken, after 5.30 p.m.. others again were taken up to 7 p.m 1 Would the committee kindly make a stated time and abide by it, friends and enemies all to be treated alike, and I am sure will receive twice the number of entries. Again, I would like to draw your attention to the manner in which some people rush for flowers at the close of the show. Before the exhibitor can get sight of his exhibits, lo and behold he sees some fair lady walking out of the door with a huge bunch twice the size of herself, and the poor exhibitor has only his emptyglasses to collect, and often then only the pieces. No one wishes to see the Society flourish more than tne writer, but fairness and justice to all is what we most with for.—l am, etc., Qyt INTEIIESIED,
