RECEIVES THEME X DOES RECEPTION. A PROCESSION OF SEVERAL THOUSANDS. By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. William Richardson, the well known temperance lecturer, who served two weeks' imprisonment for the non-payment of a line in connection with the trouble at Sir Joseph W ard’s mec-iing, was released to-day. lie was demonstratively welcomed tin's evening by a procession oi several thousand passing through tho city. Richardson was continually cheered, nnd ho delivered a stirring address.
