PRAISE FOR MR SEDDON.

THE QUESTION OF FODDEB. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Sydney, Dec. 16. Sir Vvin. Lyne, speaking at Gundagai, said that Mr Seddon's action over fodder was such as ho expected from a largehearted, capable administrator of his calibre. Mr Seddon was a most astute politician. Although the offer to grant free carriage within New Zealand would result in a loss to the railway revenue, whilst being a benefit to us, Sir Wm. Lyne thought, Mr Seddon could foresee that such a move would beat off foreign compotions from our markets by placing New Zealand products in greater favor. Sir Wm. Lyno concluded these remarks by profession of the greatest admiration for Mr Seddon.
