HOTELKEEPER CONVICTED OP

SUNDAY TRADING.

(Per Press Association. } Waimate, last night. At tho Magistrate’s Court to-day Alfrod Harris, licensee of the Empire Hotel, was fined £5 for Sunday trading, and tho liccnso was endorsed. The fine was raised to £0 to allow of an appeal. In a similar case against Bricn Flynn, licensee of the Criterion Hotel, judgment was hold over by Major Kcddol, S.M., to Wednesday.
