SPFCIAL ORDKR MAKING KATLL IVT OTICF is hereby given that the Gisborne Borough Council will hold a Meeting, at tin; Council Chambers, Lowe street, Gisborne, on TUKSDAY, Cth January. 1003, at 7.30 p.m., for the purpose of confirming tl.e followin'.: Resolutions “ That for the purpose of the establishment of Public Abattoirs, the Gisborne Boromrli Council hereby decides to raise a Special Loan of LIUUb from the Government, under the provisions of ''The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1 <jij 1 ," and amendments thereof, lor a term' of forty-one years, at the rate of 3.1 per cent, per annum. It is proposed to pay the tost of Raising the Loan and First Year's Interest out oi Loan." “ That for the purpose oi providing the Interest and Sinking Fund, and other charges, on a Loan of , authorised to be raised by the Gisborne Borough Council, under tile provisions of "1 he Local Bodies l.oans Act, 1301,” for the establishment of Public Abattoirs, the Gisborne Borough Council hereby makes and levies a Special Hate of One Penny in the Pound sterling upon the annual rateable valuation of all rateable property within the Borough of Gisborne, as defined in New Zealand Gazette of tlth May, 1377, folio 5211 ; and that such Special Kate shall he an annual recurring rate during the currency oi such loan, being a period of fortv-one years, or until the loan is fully paid oil ; the rate oi interest on such loan being .31 per cent, per annum; and it is further resolved that the interest upon the loan shall fie paid out of the charges, rents and tolls accruing iroin sueir Public Abattoirs, and in that case the Special Kate not he collected except in make good any deliciency that may occur through the revenue from such Abattoirs being liisuilh.ient to meet, the interest and lawful charges upon the loan,' 1
