CHIEF POST OFFICE, GISBORNE On Thursdays, the 25th December and Js't January, this office will he closed, On Friday, the 2Gth inst,, the ollice will be open in all branches except Money, Order and Savings Bank, front !) a.m. to 10 a.m, Mails usually despatched on Thursdays will be closed on Wednesday nights, the 21th and 31st inst., at 7.30 p.ni. On Friday, the 2Gtli, all mails will be despatched as usual up to 8 am. Letter-carriers will mate one complete delivery commencing at 8 a.m. On the Wednesday preceding the holidays a delivery of letters only will be made at delivery wicket (private box lobby entrance), from 7.3(1 p.m, to 8.30 p.m. Siuiday hours will lie observed in the private box lobby on the 25th inst. and Ist prox, .Usual hours on the 2Gtli inst, TELEGRAPH OFFICE/ On Christmas Day this office will be open from 0.30 to 10 a.m. and 5 to 5.30 p.m. (box lobby entrance). On Boxing Day and New Year’s Day the attendance will be from 0 a.m, tu 1 p.m, anil 7 p.m, to midnight. ”TELEPHONE EXCHANGE, The Exchange will be open from 0 am, to 10 a.m.; only on Christmas Day", and on the usual hours on Boxing" and New Year’s Day*. COUNTRY OFFICES, The country offices in Gisborne dis--1 triet will be closed on Christmas and New Year’s Days, but will lie open , on Boxing Day from 0 a.m. to 10 a.m.
