It is to be hoped that Mr Moseley’s commission will see the awful slums oi the larger cities of the United States, as well as the factories in the neighborhood of which, and for the accommodation in too many cases of the workers in which, those slums exist. To those who care to inform themselves of whar is going on in the world, it has long since ceased to be novel or surprising to be told that the slum difficulty of the larger cities of the United States is much worse than any similar difficulty in any European country. —Napier Telegraph.
