TN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in them in that behalf by 11 The Counties’ Act, 1886.” the Cook County Council do hereby resolve as follows : That for the purpose of providing the Interest- and other charges on a Loan of £2500, authorised to be raised by the Cook County Council under the provisions of “ The Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1901," for constructing, a Cart Bridge across the Tolago River, the said Cook County Council do hereby make and levy a Special Rate | of One Penny in the £1 upon the rateable valuation of all rateable property of the Tolago Bridge Loan District, comprising all the lands bounded as follows :—Commencing at a point 011 ' the Coast line, known as “Koangaumu,” or a point where the boundary line between the Counties ol Cook and Waiapu meet on the coaist ; thence southerly by the coast line to a point where the S.W. boundary of Paremata No. 2, produced through Trig Station 159, would strike the coast ; thence north-westerly by said line to the south-eastern corner of I’aremat 1 No. •'! ; thence by the southern boundary of said block to the intersection of the eastern boundary of Paremala No. IF; thence northerly by the eastern boundary of Paremala No. IB to public road ; thence westerly by said road lo the eastern boundary of Parcmata D : thence northerly by the eastern boundary of Paremala D ; thence westerly by the northern boundary of Paremala D and E ; thence northerly by the eastern boundary of Paremata No. 1C to the Patiki .Stream ; thence by said stream to the Mangaheia River ; thence by the southern liank of said river lo the eastern bank of the Uawa River ; thence northerly by the Uawa River to Totaratapu ; thence easterly by the boundary between Cook and Waiapu Counties to the starting point. And that such Special Rate shall he an annual recurring rate during the currency of such Loan, and Ire payable Half-yearly on the Ist day of June and the Ist, day. of December in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such Loan, being a period of Years, or until the Loan is fully paid off. The rate of Interest to he 3A per cent-, per annum.
