Yesterday a westerly wind wa3 blowing off Capo Maria, with hazy weathor; Auckland reported S.W. breeze, cloudy ; Napier, N.W., overcast. A heavy sea was running at Tivitiri, Wanganui, Capo Campbell ; rough at I'outo, Russell, Manukau Hoads. Wairoa reported: “Bor bad; sea rougn ; beach unworkable.” East Cape reported yesterday : —" N.W. light; barometer corrected, 29.83 ; thermometer in shade, 65 ; smooth sea ; gloomy weather with cirrus freia west liase ‘i m< i ssutiwtty swell.”
