THE OTAGO SHOW.
By Telceraph—Press Association. Dunedin, last night. Tho Otago A. and P. Society’s Summer Show was brought to a successful conclusion to day. There wus a large attendance, and though the gate takings indicate a slight decrease on lust year, yet with the revenue from tho grandstand and from other sources the financial results are belter. Tho gate takings totalled £459 for the two days. Tho weather was fii e but threatening. There was a fine display of diaught horses. W. Gardiner’s Ci-deric the Saxon won the championship, while Keid and Fleming’s Lady Victoria won the championship for mares. .James Patrick secured the special prize for most points. Casket was the only thoroughbred exhibited. Hackneys and ponies were good classes. James Patrick took the prize for best mounted infantry horse. Miss Button won tho jumping event. Tho stockriders’ race was won by J. O’Connell. In the wood-chopping competition P. O’Sullivan was tho winner.
