Tho Pacific Cable Board has advisod thG Fedoral Postmaster of tho following ratos fixed for messages :—Australia, Now Zealand, Norfolk Island, to Unitod States, ordinary rates, 2s 2d, plus oxtra rates, ranging from 2d to fid for tho various States according to their distance. Press rates are as follows: Betwoen Groat Britain and Australia, Is; betwoen Canada and Australia, 9d por word, plus half extra rate for each State os indicated above. For ordinary messages tho rate in each ease includes tho Australasia terminal rates of 2d. Pross messages will be accepted, subjoct to tho usual conditions.
