STRONG CONFIDENCE IN M. PELLETAN. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright Paris, Nov. 25. In the Chamber of Deputies M. Pc-llctan, replying to tiic allegation that ho had dangerously reduced the efficiency of the Mediterranean Squadron, declared that he reduced the crews for the winter, similarly to what had been done with the Northern Squadron for years without complaint. A vote of confidence was carried by 286 to 24.
