KAITI v. GISBORNE
There was a largo attendance at the Bowling Green yesterday afternoon when the second match in connection with the pennant flag competition was played, the competing teams being Kaiti and Gisborne. Tho games were attondod with considerable interest, and in both rinks resulted in a victory for Gisborno, the scores being as follow : Harris Lewis Quigley Willock McGowan J.T. Witty Coleman, skip 25 W. J. Witty, sk 15 Robertson Nicholas Adair Wallace Massey Pcttie Gaudin, skip 17 Bright, skip H Gisborne... 42 Kaiti ... 29 Majority for Gisborne... 13 Other games played resuultcd as follows : Ambridge Dixon Rosio E. Pcttie Eure O’Meara Martin, skip 19 llerinessy, skip 16 Elliot Holmes Seymour Cox Williams Orr Morgan, skip 13 Ilcscott, skip 2fi In tho doubles for the Vice-President’s trophy, Harding and Sheet v/er". defeated by A. Adair ami Birss, and A. flees and Bright were beaten by Cummings and Heunessy. The latter game, which was finished in the dark, was most exciting, Cummings and Hennery winning on tho last head by a eouplo of points.
