CHARGE AGAINST MYRA TAYLOR
By Telegraph—Press Association. Auckland, last night. In the Supreme Court Myra Taylor, a married woman, of the Thames, was charged with the attempted murdor of her former lover, Michael Whelan, on tho eve of his marriage. Accused pleaded hot guilty.
Whelan gave evidence describing the accused’s uttiick upon him. Dressed in a mail’s clothes, with a revolvor, on the night of August 26th, sho attacked liirij outside his mother’s iiouso.
Accused watched tho witness during the giving of his evidence, with a cynical expression. He admitted accused had lont him monoy, but novor as muoh as £2O. ACQUITTAL OF TIIE~ACCUSED.
