Society’s Shows, 189(1, as (he best coaching stallion on the ground ; also, first in 1807, and Gold Medal at same Show ; also, first at Wellington A. and P. Show, 1807. First prize at Masterlon, 1898 ; also, first prize at same grounds, February 22nd. 1809. Robin Ilood, by St. Albans.—St. Albans sire of Tasman ; dam trotting mart Nellie, by Monga Park. Delhiin', imported direct from the celebrated Oldenburg Stud, Suwundan, near llodenkicbea. Grand Dukedom of Oldenburg, Germany. Horses from this stud have lately taker, over 409 prize,, and medals in Europe unci America. Dolphin is the true type of a coaching stallion, and is, in fact, the only specimen to be seen in the Hemisphere. He was bred bv Edward Hubben, and toaled 22nd April, 1897; is a rich blood bvj with two white ankles, and stands 10 hands i! inches high. Delphin’s breeding is of the most successful strains, being got by Magnet by Agamemnon, by Yellachich, dam by ZernCbog, by General Garl, Wedel by CoradiiThe breeding of horses in Germany is paid great attention to by the Government, and all the stallions at the service of the public have to he passed by the Government Veterinary Surgeon as sound, and of good conformation and constitution. Delphin is a handsome blood bay horse, of grand proportions, a'so splendid conformation. He is of a thoroughly sound constitution, most doc !e temper, superior action, and is a sure foal-gett-r. The stool: of Delphin should command extreme prices when mated with good marcs, such ns superior carriages h--rsps, upstanding hacks, cross-country b uses, Indian remounts, and cavalry horses. Delphin was the winner of the list piize at the February Show, and also first prize node rnfica'.e at the September Show at Wangamt in 1891 ; fir-t in 1894 as the best hor-e on the ground.
