POVERTY BAY ROWING CLUB.
Last evening another event of the above club s trial fours took place. The competition was between Donkins (stroke), Parker (3), McGovern (2), Douglas' (bow), and H. Taylor (stroke), C. Priestly (3), J. Smith (2), b. Roderick (bow). From a good start both crews made the pace on equal terms for a good way. The race throughout was keenly contested.
