He has stood in the Wair-uapa for four seasons, where his stock is in great demand. I-Ic has never been beaten in the Show ring. Took first prize in the Wairarapa and East Coast A. and P. Society’s .Shows, 189 G, as tiie best coaching stallion on the ground ; also, first in 1897,. and Gold Medal at same .Show ; also, first at Wellington A. and P. Show, 1897. First prize at Masterton, 1898 ; also, first prize at same grounds, February 22nd, 1899. Robin Hood, by St. Albans.—St. Albans sire of Tasman ; dam trotting mare Nellie, by Monga Park. Monga Park sire of Maid of Munster, Rockwood,, and Moonlight. Maid of Munster ran second in Christchurch over hurdles, also won five trotting races, and won the three-mile trot in 8 minutes. Was sold for 109 guineas to go to Melbourne. Won one trotting race there, and was afterwards disqualified for life, for running under a wrong name. Wa,s shown at Sydney, and took first prize as the best jumper on the ground ; first prize as best trotter, first as brood marc, and first and special as the best marc on the ground Afterwards was sold to Mr Bartlett, of Sydney, ior zOU guineas, to go to England where she now is. It will be seen, by the above that Robin Hood, as a coaching stallion, cannot be beaten.

Deli’HlJ.’, imported direct from the celebrated Oldenburg Stud, Suwundu.ll, near Bodenkichea, Grand Dukedom of Oldenburg, Germany. Horses trom this stud have lately taken over 400 prizes and medals in Europe and America. Delphin is the true type of a Coaching stallion, and is, in fact, the only specimen to be seen in the Hemisphere. He was bred by Edward Lubben, and foaled 22nd April, 1887 ; is a rich blood bay with two white ankles, and stands 10 hands 3 inches high. Delphin’s breeding is of the most successful strains, being got by Magnet by Agamemnon, by Yellaohieh, dam by Zeruebog, by General Gar], Wedel by Boradih The breeding of horses in Germany is paid great attention to by the Government, and ail the staiiions at the service of the public have to be passed by the Government Veterinary Surgeon as sound, and of good conformation and constitution. Delphin is a handsome blood bay horse, of grand proportions, a'so splendid conformation. He is of a thoroughly sound constitution, most docile temper, superior action, and is a sure foalgetter. The stock of Delphin shouid command extreme prices when mated with good mares, such as superior carriage horses, upstanding hacks, cross-country horses, Indian remounts, and cavalry horses. Delphin was the winner of the first prize at the February Show, and also first prize and certificate at the September Show at Wanganui in 1801; first in 1804 as the best horse on the ground. Delphin was also first and champion at Tokoniariro in 189 G, and first at Clutha same year. Terms: £3 3s;-guarantee as per arrangement. Two or more mares as pelagreement.
