Percy Fitzgerald, author oi she book “ Tho Transvaal from Within,” »• a Air George Farrar, another prominent Outlander leader, have been knighted. Amongst a lengthy list of Colonials mado Companions of tho Distinguished Servico Order ate tho following New Zealanders:—Majors F. Abbott and E. Bartlett, Captain R. Stevenson, Lieuteuuut Lf. Hicktc, R. Tudor, AY. Tounley. The following Now Zealanders rceeivo Distinguished Conduct medals : —Scrgt.Majors Black, Pickett, and White, Quar-termaster-Sergeant Travers.
Sister Rawson, of Victoria, has boon awarded tho Royal Red Cross.
