THE SHOW.
JUDGING DAY. There is every prospect of fine weather for the Agricultural and Pastoral Show, which opens at the Gisborne Park race course to day. There is a record number of entries this year, and thp attendance should be a record one.
The judges will’ commence work at 10 o’clock sharp this morning, when the draught entires, blood horses, arid light entires will be dealt with. Toe cattle and sheep clashes will also be judged. At 1.30 the driving competition will take place, followed by the judging of the hunters, pony jumping, and tile handicap trot. The railway arrangements for both days of the Show are advertised in another column. The fares, including admission to the ground, have been fixeu at Is 6-J for trucks and 2s for cars, which reasonable rates should induce very large patronage.
Ale-ssrs McNiven, lieeeroft, and H. Campbell, three of the judges, arrived by the Weka yesterday morning.
