MODERATE DRINKING.
(To the Editor of the Times.) Sir —I hope Moderation No. 1 will accept the advice of No. 2, and get his letter further printed and circulated and if he will add this as a footnote 1 will join him in expenses. My motto is "Moderation in all things aood, abstinence from all things evil. Both my moderation friends'will know many persons they could not call drunkards who partake oi an article ,which is destroying thousands, not only for those who take it immoderately, but-who "only take a little lor their stomach’s sake," but take it so regularly and frequently that medical men testify they do themselves more | iniurv than the ”’mi occasionally goes'on a" "deliberate spree, and gives nature' 1 a chance to recover herselfWhether Moderation joins me or not T llmie lie will circulate Ins letter lor I am convinced the intelligence of the community is now fully aroused to ra> ss poll vole= '» “KvtiS ff-YouSetc •W.
