By Telegraph—Pross Association. Christchuruh, lant night. Y'cstorday aftoruoon Herbert Inwood, of Springstou, was out shooting birds. Wbon crossing a gato the gun exploded. Tho charge entered his right BiUo, shattering tiie hip bone and causing the bowels to protrude. Ho was brought to Christchurch Hospital, where ho lies in a precarious state. A woman named Honors, Letter, one of the unfortunate class, was found dead in tho water eioso to tho Royal Goorgo Hotel this morning.
