Robin Hood, by St. Albans.—St. Albans sire of Tasman ; dam trotting mare Nellie, by IVlonga Park. Monga Park sire of Maid of Munster, Rockwood, and Moonlight. Maid of Munster ran second in Christchurch over hurdles, also won five trotting races, and won the three-mile trot in 8 minutes. Was sold for 100 guineas to go to Melbourne. Won one trotting race there, and was afterwards disqualified for life, for running under a wrong name. Was shown at Sydney, and took first prize as the best jumper un the ground ; first prize as best trotter, first as brood maro, and first and special as the best mare on the ground Afterwards was sold to Mr liartlett, of Sydney, for 200 guineas, to go to England where she now is. ft will be seen by Hie above that Robin I-lood, a.s a coaching stallion, cannot be beaten. i

DELPHIN DEl.rniS, imported direct from the celebrated Oldeuburg Stud, Suwundan, near Kodenkichea, Grand Dukedom of Uldenburg, Germany. Horses from this stud have lately taken over 400 prizes and medals in Europe and America. Delphin is the true type o.f a coaching stallion, and is, in fact, the best specimen to be seen in the Hemisphere, fie was bred by Edward Luhbcn. and foaled 22nd j April, is a rich blood bty with two white ankles, and stands 10 hands 3 inches high. Delpbin’s breeding is of the most ' successful strains, being got by Magnet by Agamemnon, by yellachich, dam by Zernebog, by General Garl, Wedei by Boradil. j The breeding of horses in Germany is paid great attention to by the Government, and i all the stallions at the service of tile public j have to be passed by (,be Government Veterinary Surgeon as sound, and of good conformation and constitution. Delphin is a handsome blood bay horse, of grand proportions, a!so splendid conformation. He is of a thoroughly sound constitution, most doede temper, superior action, and is a sure foulgetter. The stock of Delphin should command extreme prices when mated with good mares, such as superior carriage horses, upstanding hacks, cross-country horses, Indian remounts, and cavalry horses. Delphin was the winner of tile first prize at the February Show, and also first prize and e-nilicate it the September Show at Wanganui in iSlll ; first in 18‘J-l as the best horse on the pound.
