LONDON, October 17. La Soufriere was again in full eruption yesterday.
SYDNEY, October 17. The steamer Kent has arrived from the Bluff. The Assembly sat continuously until 1 o'clock to’night, there being a general discussion on the finances. Eventually a resolution was passed to p> into committee on the estimates. The chief burden of trie Opposition stonewall was the Government’s extravagance. The Minister of Works was especially heckled. The debate was marked with some lively passages at arms, and occasional language of an unparliamentary character.
