The wicket was in good [ order, the weather perfect, and the enthusiasm displayed by the members augurs well for the success of tbo Club during the present Beason. The scores wore “ A ” Team. 11. Jones, b Priestly 1 Pirio, not out 11 Go-dwiri, b Andrews 4 Extras 14 Total 59 Hodgo, Andrews, Shillabeer, Sheridan, and Priestly did best work with tho bull, though nono of them appeared to have yet found a length. Tho West End district is to be commended on boing tho only one which has entered teams for tho Thursday and Saturday competitions, composed solely of residents within tho Wost End area, and wo should not bo at all surprised to seo their spirit and enterprise rewarded by a double win in the competitions.
