These measures which wo enjoy prccludo any possibility of such awful loss of wealth and such suilering as is ontailed on tho public of Amorica generally, and any other nation whero laws such as wo enjoy aro unknown. All honor to thoso who aro providing fuel to tho poor, let us hope tho American Government will take SP oedy steps to aid the above troubles and legislate to prevent a recurrence of such calamities.— I am, etc., So MOTE IT BE.
