Coronation Biograph.

This important historical event has been faithfully reproduced by means of the marvellous invention of the ninteenth century, and on Monday next the people of Gisborne will have an opportunity to witness a magnificent display of moving pictures of intense interest. They are all very fine films, and the press elsewhere congratulates Messrs Cooper and Macdermott upon their possession, and also upon their ability to display them to advantage. The Hawke’s Hay Herald of Monday last says : —“ AmoDg the many kinematograph or biograph entertainments which have visited Napier at various times, none has been better than Messrs Cooper and Macdermott’s Imperial Biograph, which opened a short season here on Saturday. A matinee performance was given in the afternoon, which attracted a crowded house, and in the evening the audience was one of the largest known here for a Saturday night. The [ entertainment can be highly recornj mended, the pictures shown being exceedingly clear and steady and with a total absence of the flickering so conspicuous in some similar entertainments. The series of coronation pictures were very fine, and gave a very realistic idea of the procession to the Abbey, the arrival of the King, the crowning ceremony, the return of the procession, etc. Not less interesting than the coronation films -was the splendid collection of animated pictures representing “ Our Navy.” edmprising some magnificent photographic reproductions of battleships, ancient and modern, and a number of other interesting pictures.” Messrs Cooper and Macdert mott expect to arrive on Saturday morning, and will exhibit on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and those who re'aiembe? their previous exhibitions will know the merits of the company,
