A REMARKABLE CASE, . INVERCARGILL, last night A' case of an unusual nature engaged the attention of the Magistrate's Court to-day. when Peter McEwan, Registrar of'Electors for Invercargill, was charged with refusing to supply an extract from the electoral roll to the informant, J. S. Baxter, omitting to publish or exhibit on the board outside the Registrar’s office the names of the electors struck off, and omitted to place certain names on the roll.
