First prize at Masterton, 1898 : also, first prize at same grounds, February 22nd, 1899. Robin Hood, by St. Albans. —St. Albans sire of Tasman ; dam trotting mare Nellie, by Monga Park. Monga Park sire of Maid of Munster, Rockwood, and Moonlight. Maid of Munster ran second in Christchurch over hurdles, also won five trotting races, and won the three-mile trot in 8 minutes. Was sold for 100 guineas to go to Melbourne. Won one trotting race there, and was afterwards disqualified for life, for running under a wrong name.
