WEDDING DELLS.

A very largo number of friends and

visitors assembled at Wesley Church last Wednesday, the occasion being tho marriage of Mr Arthur Holloway to Miss Emma Bessie East, eldest daughter of Mr John East. Tne church was very tustofoily decorated for tho occasion, being similar to the decorations that were so much admired at Mrs Harrison Lee’s lecture the previous evening. The bride, who was attired in white silk, with tho accustomed veil, was given away by her father, and Mr John East, ot Napier, acted as best man. Tho bride’s three sisters, Polly, Florric and Winnie East, were the bridesmaids, and looked very nice, being dressed in white silk, each carrying a basket of flowers. Tho marriago ceremony was conducted in a very impressive manner by the Rev. Mr Rothwoll, the choir, of which the bride is a member, rendering assistance in the singing. Mr Chas. East played tho “ Wedding March ” as tho happy couplo left tho church. Afterwards Mr and Mrs Holloway wero driven to tho residence of tbo bride’s parents, Childers Road, whero a sumptuous repast bad boon prepared for them, and whore tbo guests wero waiting to receive them. The health of tho bride and bridegroom vii d n b, wishing them ,i long and happy tuiuie. They left by the boat in tho evening for Napier, whore they spend their honeymoon. They wero ilie recipients of a largo number of vory useful presents.
