Terrible Experience.

By Telegraph—Press Association. Wairoa, yesterday. A Maori woman had an unpleasant experience at tho end of last week going from Waikaremoana to Ruatahunn, a distance of 14 miles. Sho had an infant with her. Shortly after they left tho Lake a heavy snow storm came on and she could not rnako any headway, but got * into tho bush and remained in it for nearly throe days, without a firo or a morsel of food. When sho reached Ruatahuna she was almost doad from cold and exhaustion. Sho had shielded her baby, so as not to lot it suffer. Tho woman has recovered from tho effects of her long exposure and privation.
