.TRADING IN OPIUM, By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, last night. Robert Macilgray, an unemployed clerk, has been arrested with 31 tins of un-Customed opium in his possession. At the time of his arrest, the man was endeavoring to dispose of the opium to a Gnincae merchant in Tory street. HOSPITAL DAY.
The Hospital Sunday demonstration, which was being held to day in aid of the funds of the Convalescent Home, had to be postponed: owing to the unfavorable weather.
