WINE BY THE HOUR,
Rome, August 2, In the province of Padua, the price of wine is unprecedentedly low, owing to the enormous over-production. In some districts the guests pay py the hour for the wine consumed. Wine is rarely sold for money-, hut is usually bartered for milk, maize, and fowls.
