FEDERAL BUDGET.

The Federal Budget showed that the Customs Excise receipts were .£9,055,000, the total revenue from all sources being £11,510,000. The expenditure was £4,010,000. The Estimates for next year are £3,924,000. The Post Office shows a loss of £139,000. The naval and military expenditure was £783,000, but the Estimates for the ensuiug year cut the amount down to £036,000.
